Bina brings over a decade of expertise in gerontology to Silver Age Care, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Gerontology. In addition to her professional background, Bina has personally navigated the challenges of Lewy Body Dementia through her father’s diagnosis and eventual passing at the age of 64. Diagnosed in his late 50s, Bina and her family dedicated themselves to understanding and providing the care he needed while also supporting their own emotional and practical needs.

Faced with the decision to place her father in a memory care facility in Scottsdale, AZ, Bina and her family sought guidance from a placement agent. The experience was one of the most difficult and emotional times of her life, but the support they received from the agent allowed her father to live in a compassionate, nurturing environment during his final years. This deeply personal experience reinforced Bina’s resolve to use her degree and knowledge to help others facing similar challenges.
