Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 29, 2026
Silver Age LLC respects the privacy of individuals and families seeking senior living guidance. We understand that finding appropriate care often involves sharing personal and sensitive information.
This policy explains how Silver Age collects, uses, and shares consumer health data under Washington’s My Health My Data Act (RCW 19.373).
Consumer health data generally means personal information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to someone’s physical or mental health status.
This policy applies to consumer health data handled through our website, client questionnaire, and senior living advisory services.
Consumer Health Data We Collect
When you contact Silver Age or work with one of our advisors, we may collect the following categories of information.
Health and Care Needs
Medical conditions, diagnoses, cognitive or memory concerns, physical limitations, mobility, medications, behavioral or safety concerns, and assistance needed with daily activities.
Care Preferences and Services
Desired living arrangements, personal care preferences, specialized services, current care arrangements, and anticipated care needs.
Care History and Transitions
Information about hospital stays, rehabilitation, current living arrangements, and the circumstances prompting a search for senior care.
Financial and Planning Information
Information about care budgets, insurance, Medicaid, and payment options when relevant to understanding someone’s care needs and identifying appropriate services. This information may be associated with consumer health data when it relates to the person’s health and care needs.
Related Personal Information
Names, contact details, family relationships, and other information needed to identify the person seeking care, communicate with authorized representatives, and coordinate services.
Health-Related Website Activity
Our website uses advertising technology that records page visits, including addresses of pages discussing topics such as memory care or dementia.
When associated with a visitor or advertising identifier, this information may reveal an interest in particular care services. A page visit does not necessarily indicate that the visitor has a particular health condition.
How We Use Consumer Health Data
We use health-related information to provide the senior living guidance and services requested by individuals and families.
This includes:
Understanding current and anticipated care needs.
Identifying appropriate assisted living communities, adult family homes, memory care, and other care options.
Evaluating whether providers can meet specific care, mobility, safety, and financial needs.
Coordinating tours, assessments, transitions, and related communications.
Providing ongoing guidance when care needs or circumstances change.
Website activity information is also used to understand interest in our services and measure advertising effectiveness.
Collection and sharing of consumer health data are subject to applicable legal requirements, including requirements for consent and exceptions for services requested by consumers.
Where We Get Information
We may receive consumer health data from:
Individuals seeking senior living services.
Family members, caregivers, or legally authorized representatives who contact us on someone’s behalf.
Information submitted through contact forms, our client questionnaire, and other communications.
Healthcare professionals, discharge planners, social workers, and other referral sources involved in coordinating care.
Senior living providers and care professionals involved in evaluating or arranging services.
Website technologies that collect information about visits and interactions.
The information we receive depends on the services requested and what is shared with us.
Information We Share and Who Receives It
Helping families find appropriate senior living options sometimes requires sharing relevant information with care providers and other professionals.
Senior Living and Care Providers
With appropriate authorization, we may share information about health conditions, mobility, cognitive needs, daily assistance requirements, care preferences, financial considerations, and other details relevant to determining whether a provider can meet someone’s needs.
Recipients may include assisted living communities, adult family homes, memory care communities, skilled nursing facilities, and other care providers being considered.
Silver Age uses a release of confidential information process to authorize sharing client information with senior living providers.
Professionals Involved in Care Coordination
When appropriate and authorized, we may share relevant care and planning information with professionals involved in a person’s care or transition, such as care managers, discharge planners, and other service providers.
Website Advertising Services
Our website uses the Meta pixel to measure the effectiveness of Facebook and Instagram advertising.
Meta may receive page addresses and browser or device information, including visits to pages discussing health-related topics.
This information may indicate an interest in particular care services, although a page visit does not establish someone’s health status.
Our website forms are not configured to send submitted health information directly to Meta.
For more information, see Meta’s Privacy Policy.
Technology Service Providers
We use technology providers to store and manage information and support our services.
Advisor Compass LLC
Silver Age uses Advisor Compass LLC to manage client information through its client management platform.
Advisor Compass LLC and Silver Age LLC are separate legal companies under common ownership.
Advisor Compass provides software services to Silver Age and processes client information on Silver Age’s behalf. Silver Age determines how client information is used and shared in providing advisory services.
Other service providers
Our public website is hosted by Framer, which processes information submitted through our website forms.
Other technology providers may process relevant information to support data storage and communications.
